Entrepreneurship is often lauded as the epitome of innovation and economic dynamism. Yet, the conventional wisdom surrounding it is rife with platitudes and over-simplifications. The mainstream narrative tends to glorify high risk-taking, a strong “hustle culture,” and the idea that anyone with a vision can succeed. However, a more nuanced examination reveals that the landscape is far more complex, and its subtleties are often overlooked. I have already written about those aspects in my book about entrepreneurship propaganda.

Entrepreneurship is not a monolithic concept but a multifaceted phenomenon influenced by a plethora of variables, from individual traits to market dynamics and societal norms.
